Our girl time is an important to our sanity! No friendship breakups happening here!
These days, sometimes it’s really difficult to find the girl time all of us women need to stay connected to our close friends. We all have our own busy lives, which makes it very difficult to keep in touch on a regular basis. But there is really nothing more sad than thinking about the idea of you and your girlfriends growing part. Friends are the family you actually get to choose and spending time with friends is, in and of itself, is a great way to stay connected. If you’re feeling disconnected and haven’t seen your friends in a while, do something fun and exciting to revive your friendship, like riding in a Mardi Gras parade!
If you and your friends are used to going out to clubs, pubs or eateries together as your way of hanging out, then change things up a bit and celebrate the good times by planning a girl’s trip down to none other than New Orleans for Mardi Gras!
Not just coming to visit, which is wonderful, but actually ride on a float and be a member of a Mardi Gras Krewe. The newest all female Krewe of Pandora is offering memberships at a discount right now. You and your friends can actually throw beads from beautiful floats and experience the parades like a local.
What a more fun way for you and your friends to bond over live music, tasty food, and marveling over all of the amazing Krewe floats. You’ll see a lot of crazy costumes, kids with their families everywhere, and both locals and visitors having a great time!
The Krewe of Pandora invites you and your friends to come ride along in its third parade on March 3, 2019. Pandora is an amazing woman-led krewe located in Jefferson Parish, which is a neighboring community to New Orleans. Pandora first paraded on Lundi Gras, February 8, 2016.
Our name takes from the mythological Greek goddess, Pandora. She was the first mortal woman ever created by the Gods, molded of earth and water and once ready, the Four Winds breathed life into her. We are a diverse group of friendly ladies who understand the importance of girl time. Our ladies are extremely thrilled about making new friends and enjoy the excitement that the Mardi Gras season brings every year.
Shopping, and going out to dinner is great………….but how many girlfriends can say they have ridden together on a Mardi Gras float? Spice things up and do something unique and memorable.
Every year, we get a lot of questions about how it all begins, so feel free to check out Krewe of Pandora for more information!
